April in Paris: The Music of Count Basie

Jazz was in the air at Slayton House in Columbia, as the Columbia Jazz Band played to a sold-out crowd on April, 27th, 2018.  The relaxed cabaret style evening, was presented as April in Paris: The Music of Count Basie.  Charts like “One O’Clock Jump”, “Have A Nice Day”, “I Can’t Stop Loving You”, and “April in Paris”, paired with Frank Sinatra/Basie collaborations, “Come Fly with Me”, “Street of Dreams” and “Get Me to the Church on Time”, brought thunderous applause.  Join our mailing list to receive emails of upcoming events.  Don’t miss out.
